Bullet resistant window frames

Bullet resistant window frames are a special category of window frames and are recommended for high security areas such as banks, embassies and jewelry shops.

Their main function is to protect the space from bullet or parts thereof, fired by weapons such as a Kalashnikov, or a Magnum.

The level of protection of these window frames from FB1 to FB7, is determined by European standard EN 1522 which refers to the testing and grading of bulletproof composite armor, (windows, doors, shutters and blinds), based on attacks by rifle, pistol or firearm.

Anti-vandal material can be added in order to ensure that the frame is not broken into fragments.
